Polly Scattergood released her first single on Mute Records in 2009 since then she has released three studio albums under her own name and one with mercury nominated MAPS a side-project called "onDeadWaves".

Scattergood's critically acclaimed fourth studio album  "In This Moment" was released to rave reviews and charted at 23 in the Official UK Independent Charts. Polly then began writing with Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds / Sonic Youth / Grinderman and followed up "In This Moment" with an EP "In The Absence of light"- filled with her signature blend of storytelling and sonic playfulness whilst spinning enchanting webs of sound.

As well as her own record-making Polly also co-hosts a podcast called "The Detail"  with Singer Katie Melua - the podcast consists of a series of deep dive conversations with various legendary guests discussing their own individual creative processes.
